Once the change has been made we'll send you a confirmation email and you can double check your race entry on UltraSignup. If you need to change your race distance for any reason, please email directly and we'll get that updated for you. The transferee is also sent an invitation that will let them bypass a closed or filled event.Ĭutoff is the Wednesday prior to race day. The original order is "removed" and a 100% credit is added to the system for the exact event under the transferee's name and email. The order edit screen can be accessed via the Edit link on their receipt or in their registration history (if they did not register as a guest). The transferor will see a "Transfer Registration" button on their order edit screen. You may transfer your bib to another runner by completing the steps below: Race lengths are approximately 2 miles & 6.1 miles Bib Transfers 75 mile is a long gradual downhill which leads back to the start/finish area. There are three prominent climbs with sections of flat trails in between. The route then turns onto the Blue Diamond Mulit-Use Trail where the trail is shared with horses (not during the race). The 6 mile participants will keep going through the start/finish area (aid station) taking them on a flat gravel road through the horse camp. The loop consists one large hill which promptly goes back down and loops back to the start finish where the 2 milers will finish. Racers will start in the open area around the shelter but quickly will be routed into the Woodland Trail single track loop. The Newton Hills races both start and finish in the same area right by the picnic shelter on the other side of the suspension bridge. October is always a beautiful time in Newton Hills! Come experience a run to remember on the scenic trails of Newton Hills State Park. The 6 mile route gives the participant the ability to run most of the trails that Newton Hills has to offer with plenty of elevation change for a great challenge. The 2 mile race length gives participants the ability to try out trail running and provides the whole family an opportunity to participate. All runners from beginners to veterans are welcome to participate. The race started as an 8 mile race from 2002 thru 2006, then changed to the current distances in 2007.
