A lead choice for me, the Hibachi Devil felt like wasted potential that deserved more of a chance in the series as in Japanese horror cinema? Slashers are kind of a rarity at best, not as common as they are here in the US. Ladies and gentlemen! Hack/Slash's own, Hibachi Devil! Hence the topic and presentation to such an idea, a Hack/Slash tv series, in a slasher I think really needed a redesign. Well I'm rooting for ya guys, though personally if big screen doesn't workout? Go small screen as with such a series as this? It would feel kind of betrayal to cut out if not compact all the awesome stories this series has gone through into a couple of films. Which brings me to the topic of which I had presented above. How has this not been made into a movie series or better yet? A tv show like AHS or Slasher?Īpparently, according to Tim Seeley their had been numerous attempts in getting Hack/Slash onto the big screen but as of current, it's in development Hell. The series was fairly decent all things considered as I myself am quite a fan of the comics as well as the unique storylines and equally unique if not bizarre slashers. How is it that this hasn't been made into a movie series or tv show yet? Released almost 17 years ago back in 2004, Hack/Slash introduced to us slasher fans the sort of ultimate slasher story in Cassie Hack and Vlad who for a lack of better phrasing? Are slasher killers, quite literally hunting and killing undead or insane masked killers, really making them wish that they'd stayed dead.
